Catherine Aquiline Manda is an Assistant Lecturer at the Institute of Social Work; serving in the Department of Social Work. She is currently a PhD in Social Work at Makerere University in Uganda. She holds a Master’s Degree in International Social Welfare and Health Policy from Oslo University in Norway; and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the Institute of Social Work, in Tanzania.
Manda lectures on Social Work in medical setting, social welfare policy and services, social work with children and youth, and disability and gerontology social work. She has done research and consultancy in Gerontology and empowerment, and offers capacity building to youth especially students in engaged in higher learning.
